Outreach Play Therapy

We understand that there are times when getting to the clinic on a weekly or fortnightly basis can be challenging for families. We hold a limited number of places for outreach interventions to be held in other settings such as child care centres, kindergartens, schools, homes or in the community. These could be in the form of an entire intervention, or could be one-off outreach sessions to provide observations, meet educators/teachers, attend meetings or to see the child in a different environment. This is particularly beneficial to observe the child with peers in order to further inform our therapeutic intervention.
Play is often talked about as if it were a relief from serious learning. But for children, play is serious learning
